Just A Splash offers a ground-breaking solution to an age-old kitchen conundrum. With our our perfectly sized 100ml pouches of top quality alcohol for cooking, there is now no need for aspirational cooks to spend a fortune and sacrifice cupboard space on buying larger and subsequently hardly used bottles of spirits and fortified wines.
Launching with five varieties: Rum, Port, Sherry, Marsala and Brandy, Just A Splash is no ordinary “cooking alcohol”. Our range has been specially created to be the missing ingredient in your cooking repertoire - and the retail market.

Cotswolds based founder Pia Varma grew up in a family of foodies and was inspired to create Just A Splash in response to her annoyance at having a drinks cabinet full of expensive, big bottles of alcohol just gathering dust – and taking up valuable space! Her solution is one of those brilliant ideas that causes everyone to 'wish they’d thought of that’, a completely original concept that creates a new retail channel.
Pia’s story is a familiar one. Keen cooks and even beginners just starting their culinary journeys have a habit of acquiring a variety of ingredients – it’s storing them that is the problem.
From her time cooking with her father, Pia learnt what an important role alcohol plays in cooking. As a result, Pia created her dream product – spotting a gap in the market in the process too.
